ABOUT ME:

When I was a kid, I’d often hop from interest to interest. One week, I’d be drawing my own characters and taping them to my wall. The next, I’d be trying to write my own book. Maybe even later in the month, you’d find me filming stop-motion films with LEGO, or developing the most optimal trick-or-treat route in my neighborhood.

One thing remains the same from then to now: I love to create. Nowadays, you can find me producing audio, video, or graphic design for myself and clients. I’ve gathered all my work here for you to peruse, and if you like what you see or hear, I’m only a few clicks and types away from working with you!

As a graduate of Buffalo State University, I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music, with Digital Music Production as a minor study. I’ve been professionally recording music and editing videos for 5 years, and I’ve even had the privilege to engineer at Mammoth Recording Studio in Buffalo, New York for around 2 years. Now, I’m in the Duluth, GA area, interning at Tree Sound Studios, where i assist with and sit in on audio work, as well as handling video work for the studio and its engineers.

word on the street:

  • "I’ve been working with Joey on assorted projects for the last two years, and he’s always been my go-to whenever I’ve needed his services. When I was making my solo album, he recorded and played drums for me right when I needed it most. We also recorded a live album together, and his unique guitar and vocal parts showed that he truly possesses a producer’s mindset—able to elevate any song. Great drummer, engineer, and producer all around—the whole package!"

    Sal C., Vanity Club. 2025.

  • "Joey helped us facilitate a chaotic group recording session/retreat as our head recording engineer. He helped provide a relaxing and fun environment for the attendees, and made the recording process fluid and enjoyable. Joey has an outstanding ear, and was able to troubleshoot all of the hurdles we ran into with ease."

Steve Davit, Hearts Beat Music. 2025.

  • "Joey was the engineer for multiple sessions at Mammoth Studios. We tracked 8 songs with the full band over two days. Over the next few months, I came back to do vocals and various overdubs. In the studio, Joey is a great asset. He’s got tons of energy and brings his knowledge, strong work ethic, and positivity to the session, which is crucial when you’re trying to pack a ton of work into a short period of time. Highly recommend, high quality."

    Zak Ward. 2025.

  • "Joey has mixed the last several songs I’ve recorded, and his work has been consistently amazing. He’s always willing to listen to your input and is an absolute pleasure to work with. During the recording process, he’s a supportive presence, and his positivity goes a long way in creating the kind of atmosphere where creativity can thrive. Joey is the man!"

    Adam Putzer, asalone. 2025.

  • "Joey helped our band with a variety of shows, recording, tracking bass, writing parts, and producing—all of which he excelled at. He’s got such a solid musical background that he can jump into any project with ease. In addition, he holds himself to a high standard, always delivering quality work in a timely manner. He’s also extremely communicative and has a great knack for creating a track that truly captures the artist’s vision."

    Andrew Doviak, Cobraz. 2025.

  • "Joey made all our sessions seamless and free of technical interruptions. He’s great with technology and an enthusiastic supporter of our ideas—even when they’re still in early stages. Like many great studio engineers, he’s a musician himself, so he truly understands the language we speak."

Rich Young, Mister Thank You. 2025.

  • "Myself and the band were thoroughly impressed with Joey’s dedication to making sure we were completely satisfied with the final product. There’s a real sense of comfort he brings to every session. He stays focused on your needs while offering thoughtful input when asked. His response time outside the studio—whether reviewing tracks or answering follow-up questions—is impressively quick. With Joey, the session doesn’t end when you walk out the door; he’s always available and happy to help. Working with him was a truly great experience."

Steve Joksimovic, Red Button Dilemma. 2025.

  • "Joey brings an enthusiasm and expertise that helps you record your best music. He has a ton of patience, great ideas, and a solid understanding of how pro songs are made. It was a pleasure working with him."

Davey Harris, Hearts Beat Music. 2025.

  • "Joey was awesome—great to work with from start to finish. Our band had several recording sessions with him, and each time he made us feel completely comfortable. Every session ran smoothly and was super productive. Joey offered great suggestions throughout, and it was an all-around excellent experience for me and the band."

Jeff W., Acoustic Distortion Disorder. 2025.

  • "He created my podcast intro and outro after asking about a few of my music preferences, and the result was a completely unique sound for my show that I absolutely love. He also edits and produces each session, giving every episode superior sound quality. In addition, he chops up the episodes and creates promo audio and video reels for social media. We also have a YouTube channel with a video version of the podcast, and he even created the visual intro and outro for that. When it comes to delivering a polished, professional sound or video project, he’s your guy!"

    Tiffany Bastian, Bastian Accounting. 2025.

  • "Joey has engineered two songs for us and mixed one, and we plan to keep working with him. He brings a positive, creative energy to every session and is incredibly efficient at getting things set up—no wasted time, and he clearly knows what he’s doing. Joey keeps the atmosphere calm and comfortable, and it’s obvious he genuinely enjoys the process. He seemed just as excited about making the songs as we were—fully present and completely on board."
